No matter a persons opinion on the subject of gay marriage the real problem is that judges (California Supreme Court) became activists and overruled the law and the vote of the people. California voters had already voted on this matter Proposition 22 (or Prop 22) PREVENTED California from recognizing same-sex marriages. Voters adopted the measure on March 7, 2000 with 61.4% in favor of Prop 22. When the judicial branch overreaches and does the job of the other 2 branches and overrules and changes the vote of the people the balance of power is no longer balanced.

If a group of people or an individual does not like the law as written then go to their/your legislature representatives and work with them and the executive branch to change the law - it is NOT the job of the judicial branch to change laws or MAKE laws that suits their beliefs and wants. The job of the judicial branch is to rule on the law as written NOT rewrite the law to suit the judges thoughts on the matter. This is a slippery slope we are on when the judicial branch does as they please - activist judges are as dangerous as liberalism and Islamofascism as all 3 undermine the foundation our country was built on and if left unchecked and ignore these blatant actions which destroys the balance of power our government was founded on can destroy our country and it's foundation.

Mike Huckabee also made another point which I had not thought of which showed me the importance of a Constitutional amendment defining marriage is between ONE man and ONE woman - he sited the polygamy groups in Texas as another example of why we need this amendment. I pretty much think that if an action is LEGAL and between consenting adults then those actions are between those consenting adults and God and I am not to judge them, but when you bring children into a situation then that is where the trouble begins - children cannot legally consent to anything except abortion which activist judges enabled children to do which I believe a child CANNOT legally consent to anything by themselves - with a parent's (adult) consent they can.

Like Rush Limbaugh always says liberalism is never going to be satisfied - if you give them an inch they take a billion miles. Let's say we never define through a Constitutional amendment marriage being between ONE man and ONE woman what's next polygamy becomes legal, NAMBA makes it legal for sick child molesters to be able to marry their victims??? I could go on and on and on because when you force yourself to think like a liberal you can go to some far fetched places because they believe in emotions not facts or laws so if they like the "feeling of it" then they go with it and if you disagree with their feelings then they you call you whatever kind of thing it is - monger.

If you want to think like a liberal (as you need to know your enemy to defeat them) then don't think logically or with facts - liberals do not believe in facts - think about how it feels. A great example of this is Barack Hussein Obama when asked the question that it has been proven that when you raise capital gains taxes that the revenue taken into the government decreases - he said ummm ummmm (which is code for Obama that no teleprompter with prepared answers is in sight) and babbled a little bit and then said what he really thought and FELT - it does not matter even if the government takes in less money we can punish the rich people - that is Liberalism 101 my friends.

I believe Limbaugh nailed it when he said liberalism is MORE dangerous than Islamofascists - liberalism do their own dangerous policies/actions and they see nothing wrong with Islamofascism - now that is dangerous.

However, want to know the kicker to this court's ruling - 6 judges were Republican appointed - ruling was 4-3 in favor of this activist decision not based on the votes of the people or the law - see what happens when you water down Republicans and get activist judges.

Purple is my favorite color but not in politics - when you water down red and add it to dark liberal blue you get disaster. Conservative principles and values are what can save our Republic, purple moderate independent and liberal type of thinking will just continue to destroy our great Nation and completely destroy the Republic - again Limbaugh was genius with the statement liberalism is more dangerous than Islamofascism - it is TRUE. This includes liberal activist judges - no matter what party appointed them - if it walks like a liberal and whines like a liberal and votes like a liberal then guess what IT"S A LIBERAL no matter what party they are in!!!!
