Democrats attack President Bush while he remains on foreign soil

I have heard no one call out the Democratic Party leadership and Obama for this breach of decorum. Not even any Republicans.

The President recounted the facts that Chamberlain's appeasement of Hitler was a failure that led to the Holocaust. The President quoted a U.S. senator that said, after Hitler invaded Poland that if only he could have chatted with Adolph, the war could have been prevented.

And the Democrats hear the above, and take it as an attack on them?

They doth protest too much! methinks

Why would any enemy of America fear any Democrat?

Will any Republican or member of the press call out Pelosi, Reid and Obama for attacking their President while he is on foreign soil?

GC not holding breath.

Tonight on Hannity& Colmes both Gingrich and Kemp were amazed that the Ds chose to attack Pres. Bush's remarks about the historical failure of appeasement vis a vis Adolph Hitler. They should have applauded and agreed with Pres. Bush that history has shown what an abysmal failure appeasement can be with an insane tyrant. Instead they took the remarks as being a pointed attack on Obama even though Obama's name was never uttered by the Pres. throughout the entire speech.

The purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better.

and fail to consider the merits of Bush's argument. A rare moment of eloquence, and it's lost b/c Bush allowed our press to define the war a long time ago.

his policy.

In related news, a tree fell in the forest.

You expect decency from the left?

They are incapable of it.

For those who like education! I'm not convinced it was a planned slap toward the democrats & Obama, however it sure exposed a weakness. The realize Obama is weak on national security & his willingness to go, hat in hand, to the thugs of the world is a liability. This liability McCain can really exploit by showcasing the difference in how he would handle these thugs.

I have no sympathy for this President - or any of his predecessors - when it comes to Saudi Arabia. I can't fathom how he can attack Obama for talking with Hamas when the Saudis provide significant financial and political support to the very same people. You might see a distinction, but I can't - not when the President so boldly promised that:

The United States will make no concessions to terrorist demands and strike no deals with them. We make no distinction between terrorists and those who knowingly harbor or provide aid to them.
