McCain To Speak At La Raza Conference

Republican candidate for President, John McCain, will speak at the annual conference of the National Council of La Raza (“The Race”). La Raza is known as a Hispanic, open-borders, anti-immigration enforcement, advocacy and lobbying group. The La Raza Annual Convention will be held in San Diego on July 14, 2008.
What does John McCain have in common with La Raza which hates conservatives for defeating the illegal immigrant amnesty bill? La Raza portrays critics of illegal immigration and open-borders as racist. Yet, it is an ethnic separatist group and they call themselves “The Race.” What is wrong with this picture?
Does La Raza believe that McCain will look favorably on their cause? The group has honored McCain in the past and he has previously been a keynote speaker at their annual conference. You may remember that last year the "McCain-Kennedy" immigration reform bill was overwhelmingly opposed by the American people. Yet, John McCain openly continues his obviously friendly relationship with a radical open borders group.
One of La Raza’s secondary organizations is the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA).
The assimilation of Hispanic immigrants into our country as Americans is totally opposed by MEChA. One of their slogans is, “For La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada." This means, "For The Race everything. Outside The Race, nothing." They totally reject the idea of becoming a part of American society. They are not just advocating amnesty for illegal immigrants; they are rejecting the sovereignty of US law within our own borders.
La Raza promotes the belief that a large area of the western US (about eight states) belongs to Hispanic immigrants and should be surrendered to them once they become the majority of the population. This idea is referred to as the “Reconquista” (the reconquest of the western US).
Recently, Senator Obama’s judgment and reputation have been called into question because of his pastor’s anti-American and racist statements. Should not John McCain be held to account for the radical beliefs of those with whom he freely chooses to associate? Because I am a conservative, does John McCain really have a right to take my support for granted while he continues to associate with those who oppose immigration laws and the American way of life?

or more precisely "Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada" that's the slogan of LA MECHA, La Raza's activists arm. Yet, it's we cultural conservatives that will be called suspect, racist and bigoted if we call McCain out on this.
These people must not be allowed to succeed. NEVER MIND EMBRACED. STOP MCCAIN NOW.
Bring back the upside bumperstickers or whatever.
