Gee Hillary.. Slick?

It has come to my attention that after Obama and Hillary asked the 'former' Hillary supporters to donate money to her campaign to help retire her debt, the link provided to do that, was changed, without anyone knowing about it.
Instead of donations going to retire debt, it redirected to her 2012 Senatorial Campaign account. So those people who took the word of their leaders and tried to help Hillary have less debt to deal with, got pushed into unknowingly supporting her 2012 campaign for the Senate.
Isn't that special. Don't we have a Federal Election Commission yet?
I just think she was jealous of her husband's nickname.
Slick Hilly.
Now that IS special.
And this is what makes me think something's up.
"If you have any doubt as to where your contribution went, you must contact the financial department at HillaryClinton.com and let them know where you had intended it to go! For them to be legally able to redirect your donation *back* into her debt fund, you must make your intentions *clear* to them."
That means your contribution is NOT going to go where you were under the impression it went unless you TELL them specifically after the fact. That IS bait and switch. The sheer fact that one has to personally contact the campaign to tell them to direct your money to where you donated it to, is an opt in after the fact and it is opt out of redirection. That has to be bait and switch.

I still don't quite get why someone would donate to Clinton's Presidental campaign now that she's not running.
Such things, in my mind, breed 'Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" type situtions.
That is not what our country is.
This is extra confusing since she 'loaned' her campaign millions of dollars.
So, they are getting people to donate money to Hillary's (failed) Presidential Campaign to pay herself back.
How is that not shady and dishonest?

OMG.
I'm sorry. I about fell out of my chair.
Thanks for the laugh. Hoo-ah, that's rich.
About the wino panhandling.
A wino is on the street asking for money to buy food. Finally a good samaritan takes pity on him and gives him five bucks to buy some food. The wino immediately precedes into the liquor store and buys muscatel.
Samaritan: What did you do with my money you were supposed to feed yourself
Wino: How dare you tell me how to spend "MY MONEY" which it became when you gave it to me.

and give it to hardcore winos? I've heard there's a very immediate yak attack from it.

being this one: clicking on the donation page for her debt didn't redirect. For that matter, the PUMA website doesn't show a post with your quoted text.
Um, do you think that you could give links to the stuff that you drew this off of?

Hello, fellow PUMAs!
Last week, many of you reached into your pockets and generously gave what you could to help pay down Hillary's campaign debt.
However, the main contribution link at HillaryClinton.com had been redirected towards a different account. Instead of going to pay off her debt, it directed contributions towards her 2012 Senatorial campaign.
If you have any doubt as to where your contribution went, you must contact the financial department at HillaryClinton.com and let them know where you had intended it to go!
For them to be legally able to redirect your donation *back* into her debt fund, you must make your intentions *clear* to them.
Here are four ways you can contact them, to let your intentions be known. Again, this is only for if you are in doubt. If you are confident that your money went to pay off her debt, then you need not pursue this.
If you *are* in doubt, please contact (any or all) of the following, and encourage your PUMA contributing friends to do the same:

Thank you, and I hope you had a great holiday weekend!

I note this because the main contribution link* does not in fact redirect to Hillary Clinton's 2012 Senate campaign. In fact, it spells out in several different places that all funds collected via said link are being put to retire debt.
I think that you need to contact your source and find out why he's providing you with incorrect information.

I think that it's a bit much for a GOP website to provide assistance in getting a Democratic candidate's debt paid off; hence the deliberately broken link. But easy enough to repair.
that she has to retire her debt before the convention. But she can take that debt over to her Senate Race and won't have to pay off the debt until then.
Personally, I think it was pretty stupid of her to go so far into debt in the first place.
Also, on a similar note, I got a letter in the mail today thanking me for my contribution to McCain. I feel so special. :D

Perhaps someone more expert in campaign finance law can look at my interpretation here and let me know if I'm on the right track.
My theory is that if people gave to her Presidential campaign, the law would restrict these donations to paying down her debt (or paying for more campaign expenditures, except that she's not going to run up more expenses unless the earth swallows up Obama and she becomes the Democratic nominee). If she gets more contributions than what she can pay, she's can't transfer the money to her 2012 campaign. I'm not sure where the surplus would go, since surely she couldn't pocket the money personally, I would think.
On the other hand, sending the donations to here 2012 campaign would give Hillary more flexibility as to how to spend this money, as the 2012 Senatorial campaign could be used to retire the debt from her Presidential campaign this year if she want to use it that way. By directing contributions to her senatorial campaign she can transfer what she needs to and use the excess donations for 2012.
If this is correct, then she is simply correcting a tactical error. Otherwise, I don't know what would be going on.
And Rightly So!
