Chris Matthews and The Case Of White Liberal Guilt

Looking at the way Chris Matthews conducted himself during the Democratic primary, as a Hillary Clinton supporter, by the way I may be the only center-right voter in this country that actually likes the Clinton's but anyway, I wondered how Matthews would act when the general election starts. In this video his steadfast denial, his refusal to see the reality in front of him, instead painting this picture of West Virginians as narrow minded racist rednecks is very telling. The Obama doctrine, adopted by MSNBC and CNN goes as follows: You can't question Barack Obama words, or you're a racist. You can't question is record, or you're a racist. You can't call him on his misstatements, or you're a racist. You can't vote against him, even if your vote was based on policy, because if you do then you're a racist. No matter what according to the Obama campaign and their chief cheerleader Chris Matthews, if you question anything Obama or his voters do or say, you're a no good racist.
So to all the Conservatives and Republicans out there. We better faint, cry, and fawn over Obama's every words. We better follow him blindly like a sheep to slaughter. For if we do not, then we're Anti-American. We're derailing the dream. Who cares about woman and all they stand for in our History. Who cares about those bigots in small town America. It's about the children. It's about black people. We must pander to them because golly, they got it so darn tough. In a country that's is downright mean in 2008. So Michelle Obama says.
So here's my question:
With the Obama campaign using this "race card" strategy how will McCain go after Obama in the fall? Everything McCain says will be analyzed and picked about by the MSM.
Yeah. I'm from California and Berkeley is so far left. Anymore far left and they would all go tumbling off a cliff.
Yes, Matthews has horrifically embarrassed himself throughout this primary season--especially with the comment about "the tingle up the leg" when he hears an Obama speech. I am one of those many moderate to conservative Democrats who will vote for McCain if Hillary is not the nominee (doesn't look like she will be).

First of all, the approach that Mrs O and Mr O are taking in avoiding critisicm is a standard lower level tactic of the Left. This is a page right out of the oldest document on how to effect the populace, from the days of Lenin, Trotsky and Marx. These guys wrote the book that Mr. O is using today.
An example. Lou Dobbs had an interview with the editor from Media Matters. Now everyone knows this site is a Leftist site, dedicated to their ideals. Lou Dobbs calls this guy everything but a white man. Teflon, rolled right off the young mans hide. He never flinched. I thought Lou was going to have a stroke. His every response was, That is not the question you should be asking, Lou, or That is not the proper way to answer, you should be ashamed, you are better than this. and on and on.
The point is, the tactic is diversion, shielding the one being questioned. If you can get the Questioner to not even ask, then the tactic has worked 100 %. If, somehow, the Asker does get a input, and expects a response, then the tactic, you should not ask this, you are better than that. etc.
These tactics will win the election for Mr O. The media power houses have understood the process and have used them for years in the daily TV shows. Browbeating, ignore answers, redirect, evade, ask a rhetoric question, all are tactics to NOT answer the question directly or honestly.
If you see a candidate, look down or left, then beware, that candidate is about to lie.
If your can get a direct, repeatable, open eyed answer, treasuer it and publish it, as this is probably as close to the truth as the questioner can get.
I watched Terry McAuliff,(sic), Hillary's campaign manager, on Fox, Sunday. Question was, will Hillary be a VP candidate. Response was as above, open eyed, direct, and repeated, NO NO NO. Chris was content that he had as honest an answer as he could get.
Tactics will win the election. Look thru them, watch and read and research for the true data. It is out there.
As to how Mr. McCain can get thru this maze. Let us have trust in the Old Timers experience. I can assure you, he knows the drill, from first hand experience. His patient, knowing the truth, and direct eye contact will prevail. The press will not help, in any way fashion or form. They have a direct need to have Mr and Mrs O in the Oval Office. This is their chance to prevail on controlling the electorate. Mr. McCain, having been to the well and seen the Elephant, will not be in the least phased or scared of Mr. Obamas rants, raves and indirectness.

She cites conversations with Washington University students as evidence that we are a progressive country now. Wash U is and has been one of the more militant left-wing universities in the country, right up there with Berkeley and Columbia. Washington U was famous for bra-burning in the 1970s. Pat Buchanan knocks that one out of the park.
