Susan makes a threat!

Susan Sarandon, otherwise known as Tim Robbins' mother, has made a threat. A threat WHOLLY unlike that of many other hollywood elite in previous elections.... well, not really different, but still:
SUSAN SARANDON, who appeared in three films last year and won kudos for her TV movie "Bernard and Doris," is still not a contented soul. She says if John McCain gets elected, she will move to Italy or Canada. She adds, "It's a critical time, but I have faith in the American people."
*shrug* Ok, maybe that makes McCain a little more vote-worthy.
If only these lefties would keep true to their promises.
If there's anyone else here on RedState who was reluctant to support McCain before, this should do it for them.
Vote McCain to rid the country of Sarandon! And urge her to take her husband lover boyfriend whatever with her.

I give Depp this credit:
He made a statement that he'd rather raise kids in France than in the US, because of how lowbrow we are.
So he bought a home there and lives there. He comes here to his other house to work, but it is more than Baldwin or any of the others have done.

Alec Baldwin said the same thing about Bush. Alas, the lefties don't even have the backbone to keep their promises.
That's exactly what I said on another site yesterday....GO JOHN GO
LEAVE SUSAN LEAVE!!!1
Freedom of Religion NOT Freedom from Religion
IN fact... working on it. I'll let you know when I'm done.

Vote McCain: It Pisses Hollywood Off.
Vote McCain: Canadian Immigration Depends on it!
Vote McCain: Let Canada deal with Hollywood.
Vote McCain: Canada could use more people.

regarding celebrity images?
.
Given a new lawsuit against the Fantasy Football/Baseball/etc people by the Pro Sports leagues, I don't blame you for asking.
I'm not a Lawyer, so YMMV, but it has always been my understanding that pictures you take are free game (which is why tabloids are still in business) and images used in satire are ok as well.
So, getting a picture of the internet might get you in trouble with the one who took the picture, but if you make a drawing that looks like Susan, you should be fine.
Again, I'm not a lawyer.
Did I mention that I'm not a lawyer?

and since I have no pictures I took of Susan Sarandon, and I suck at drawing... can anyone do a convincing characature? All profits from the t-shirts are going to McCain.
.
IANAL, but you certainly should be able to use both her picture and her name on the T-shirt to promote "political speech." A local 'but whole' here named --- ------- (I started to use his name because he's a semi-public figure, but I don't want to give him ANY free publicity) sells t-shirts with a list of the names of fallen Iraq-Afghanistan soldiers on them with some kind of 'bushlied' garbage on them.
He was asked by the parents of one to leave their son's name off, which he refused to do. Arizona passed legislation to stop his kind of classless behavior, but the Federal court overturned the law, upholding his right to do so based on its context being political speech.
The parents are appealing the decision, but until that's heard, he's still selling the shirts. Seems to me that sauce for the goose....
All information comes from the local lefty newsrag, so it may be incomplete or just plain wrong. No guarantees.
FWIW, I've never seen anybody actually wearing the shirts.

Makes one wonder who is ACTUALLY buying the shirts, eh?

Claims he makes indicate he's sold over 3,000 of them. As you say, who bought them? Tourists, perhaps. I wonder if he's heading to Denver with them for the DNCon.

Not an expert, but usage has been upheld in some cases of clear parody (thus no confusion) where there was no intent for commerical gain. It's hard to know in advance what may arouse a reaction from the celebrity - or when.

Has anyone heard of this "Bernard and Doris" movie that apparently Susan has won Kudos for?
I know I'm out of the loop, ignoring most of the crap Hollywood does, but I've never heard of it.
By the way, what are these... d...v..d... things that I'm hearing about? They'll never last...
