Blankley says Hillary "Goes All The Way"
By Left Right and Center Posted in Archived — Comments (15) / Email this page » / Leave a comment »
Tony Blankley says Hillary will go all the way to the convention, no matter if it embarrasses the Democratic party. Arianna says she heard McCain say he didn't vote for Bush -- he disputes it, but it's been independently confirmed. Tony says it won't matter, Arianna worries that this will persuade more moderates to vote for him. And more primary punditry today on Left, Right and Center.
KCRW’s weekly round-up of politics, policy and popular culture features Matthew Miller, Arianna Huffington, Tony Blankley and Robert Scheer. Broadcast/webcast from outside the beltway, on the west coast's top NPR affiliate, KCRW-Santa Monica 89.9 FM. LISTEN FRIDAYS at 2:30 Pacific time at 89.9 KCRW-FM; streams live at www.KCRW.com (click LIVE tab). Podcasts free at iTunes, archived online at KCRW.com.
they did win the first game of the season. Although, I'm not going to complain about a 4-3 record against the defending NL champs.

I mean this as a serious question, based on your non-responsive, nonsensical, non-sequitur comments. Not to mention your spamming behavior.

It's too bad if nobody bothers with your station, but isn't this a little too much desperation?
I thought your minds might be open enough to listen to a very popular show, that receives about 1/4 million podcast downloads per month and is nationally distributed to stations across the country. You won't like the left (definitely, you'll hate Scheer -- which you spelled wrong in your first snark attack) and it's unlikely you'll enjoy the center (Matt Miller); I know you must hate Arianna Huffington; but don't tell me Tony Blankley's not a conservative. He's the delight of this program, with his elegance and eloquence.
What I am sending ain't spam, it ain't spin, it's information. You've heard of that, haven't you? Our station, by the way, is very much listened to locally, nationally and around the globe and we're doing just fine in the ratings and member dollars department. One reason why is that we don't believe in retreating to our closed-off little corners, we think we have an intelligent audience and we cater to that intelligence with multiple perspectives across the political spectrum.
I guess I don't get why you immediately insult visitors and blog contributors to your website. And by the way, as to the robot question my guess is, I'm probably more human than you are! At least I listen to other points of view. Doesn't sound like you want to.

1) Please reread the purpose of this site, which is to advance Republican and conservative interests. We have a number of independents and liberals who post here fairly regularly and are welcomed because they present well-reasoned positions that challenge us and add value to the debate.
Also, the editors do allow posters to link to their personal (or media) website. However, the expectation is that people are here to contribute to the ongoing discussions here; RedState does not welcome press releases or thinly-veiled teasers with little content that are designed to direct traffic to that site.
Your approach to date has not been in keeping with the above purposes and guidelines of the site, which is one of the reasons your writings have not been received kindly to date. For more info on site policies, click on the "Posting Rules" link at the top of every page.
While I am not one of the moderators or editors and do not enforce the rules, I thought I'd do you the favor of the experience of a long-time poster.
2) As my apocryphal aunt used to say, it's not what you say but how you say it.
The way you have phrased your posts and comments have been in the mode of spam. Indeed, several of your responses to me were so peculiar that I was beginning to think I was dealing with a machine intelligence rather than a human being. This last comment of yours, at least, has disabused me of that concern.
Thus, it's not that I and others here are committed to "closing our minds" to other points of views; it's again that the purpose of this site is to advance Republican and conservative ideals. Other internet sites are designed to be a more neutral marketplace or ideas.
But again, you primary purpose needs to be to contribute to this site, not to direct traffic from RedState to your radio programs, meritorious as they may be. So please examine your motivation for being here and act accordingly. I would expect that you would have something worthwhile to contribute if you set your mind to it.
Fair comments, and also much appreciated, in terms of the website's purpose. It was very nice of you to take the time to explain.
Of course I'd like all of you to listen in, online or otherwise. Truth is, I don't think this is spam. I will readily admit that last week, I was trying to create a provocative headline with a little naughty double entendre to gain a few eyeballs -- look at how many blogs you guys have up there--how else could I get attention!
But I'll try to be more factual and share Tony's main points with you (since he's our conservative) as I continue to post. Tony's such an inside player that if he says something we haven't heard elsewhere, it'll be something we can bank on. If I think that the others say anything you might want to react to, positively or negatively, I'll include that, too.
There's nothing in this for us monetarily -- the show, the podcast, the archives, they're all free, we give the show away to stations at no charge. It's our mission to get more listeners, because it's a great show.
And unlike the charge that public broadcasting is reliably liberal, we were the station that gave David Horowitz (the conservative, not the consumer reporter) a program in the first days of the Gingrich Congress and the Contract with America years. And we're really proud to produce a national show as good as Left, Right and Center.
I am new to the blogosphere so be gentle. And, as suggested elsewhere, I'll try to toughen up. Maybe we'll meet somewhere in the middle.
Thanks.

It's fine to have a link in your posts plugging your site. What we have here is a post with the primary purpose of advertising your site, and that means it's spam. It would be spam no matter what the ideological characteristics of your site were.
A benchmark for distinguishing between spam and a plug is to imagine your post without the link to your site. Would it be considered a contribution worth reading and discussing without the link to your site? If so, then feel free to post it and also add a line at the end with the link to your site; otherwise don't clutter the site with posts like this one.
If you want to advertise your site, PAY for an advertisement instead of hijacking another site's resources to spam your ad.
I have listened to the show on my Friday night drive home from work, but then the program moved to another time slot (I think). So you shouldn't assume we all hear or read or think the same things, because we don't - not by a long, long ways. If you're going to stick around, toughen up.
"Austere, intolerant, well-armed, and blood-thirsty, in their own regions the Wahhabis are a distinct factor which must be taken into account" - Winston Churchill, 1921
I appreciate your reply, seriously. Where are you listening> We're in Santa Monica, and in SoCal the show airs at 7 pm local time. Elsewhere in the US, it varies, depending on location. Hit me at KCRWTalkPR@gmail.com and I'll suss out the and station where you are. I do quite appreciate your reply.
