Notice how he constantly looks to the left and the right.
Notice how he uses long speech pauses to change talking points at will.
Notice how, when finished, he triumphantly walks off stage and waves at his fans.

Marisa Tomei is great. Very funny in that movie too....almost fits in as Bambi's wife if you want to stretch the theme a bit more, haha.

That's an otherwise painful scene from the film.
For someone who's had much less time in the courtroom as a lawyer, Obama's mannerisms are a lot less obviously scripted than John Edwards'.
BTW, Marisa Tomei is still looking great these days. I might have to rent Before the Devil Knows You're Dead sometime soon.
