While there was some flack over this statement by Obama: “We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK."

I argue that there has not been enough. That one statement tells you just how Obama thinks and what kind of president he would be.

Obama has to believe in one world government and to not believe in the freedoms and opportunities America stands for and gives to Americans to make such a statement. He also must believe that Americans must give up these freedoms at the expense of America and Americans for the betterment of the world to make this statement.

Now, I can hear you already. I’m blowing this all out of proportion. I’m taking this out of context; but am I ?

Obama is in favor of a livable wage, universal healthcare and green government jobs. How far is it to stretch from there to controlling transportation and thermostats ? Not far with Congress on your side.

A couple of other countries with controls come to mind: Russia, China, Iran, North Korea.

Again, I hear you. America will never be controlled like Russia is today, it will never happen.

Again, I ask you to re-read the statement: “We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK."

This statement tells you exactly who Obama is. In my opinion, this is the most revealing and scariest statement Obama has made yet. This statement is a serious contrast to what America was founded on and still thought to be. The person making this statement could be the policy maker for the next 8 years for America.

And, it starts easily; with tax credits for buying hybrids or cars under 2000 pounds and energy discounts with installations of programmed thermostats. Next thing you know, you’re buying orange juice and eggs on a rationing system because America doesn’t want Africa to starve(Welcome to Russia.)

I would hope that everyone will tell people about this sentence by Obama and ask them to think it through and ask if this is the America that they want because it can happen.
