What has stripes, stand tall and slim, reads from scriptures yet talks from both ends

If you can't figure that one out I don't blame you. It seems Barack Obama went from messianic figure with pure vision and truth, to ambitious flip flopper whose trying to pull the wool over our eyes. From Iraq to gun rights Obama flips faster than Japanese Gymnasts. Perhaps a bit faster considering the circumstances. We'll have to wait and see.

The media and the Democrats say well, "Ya know John McCain is a flip flopper too" and he is. He flipped on the Bush tax cuts because duh, he wanted to pander to the base. And even though McCain is running on "Straight Talk" he has a 30 year record of straight talk. Though the past few months his talk has been well, kinda straight, kinda zig zag ya know. But Obama ran on a new message. A message of "new politics" so the standard in which he set for himself were higher than his lofty atmospheric rhetoric. He was a shiny new toy, a purity in the land of filth and honey. He was sent by the gods to clean up Washington and recreate it in the image of..Chicago.

I'm thinking the new kind of politics are the kind they participate in in Chicago. Just a hunch. I mean that is change if you think about it. We've never had Chicago style politics in Washington before. I wonder if the politics is as good as the pizza....I'm not a fan of deep dish so I'm thinking no. Barack Obama's flip flops didn't start a few days ago or even a month ago; they began in March when he slammed Hillary Clinton over NAFTA, come to find out his own adviser went to Canada to ease their worries about Obama reconfiguring NAFTA.

Another flip flop happened during the ABC debate. First he said he would lower taxes for all Americans making under 250,000. Then he said he would raise taxes of those making 97,000 a year. And he finally, under pressure from Charlie Gibson conceded the fact he would raise the CGT and taxes of most middle income families who 80% probably make in and around 97,000 a year.

Barack Obama reminds me of the guy that a girl would date who was so charming and perfect in the beginning but all the sudden he gets violent and treat the girl like a second class citizen. You know the type right?

Was I the only one who was skeptical of this guy from the start? I mean his whole message seemed odd to me. It was too perfect to be realistic. I believe Barack Obama played on the vulnerability and weak spirit of the American people who believed the country was broken. His message was that of a megalomaniac. In a sense he was saying, only through me can America prosper and change. If not me then the American people are incapable of bringing about positive change and erasing cynicism in American society themselves. I am your messiah so you must elect me or face hardship and pain forever. Because he spoke of change only he represented change. Not the American people.

I feel bad for those who genuinely believed in everything Obama said. Perhaps their own fault for blindly putting their faith in a politician, who knows. So when it's all said and done maybe the new politics is back tracking on your word after preaching "Words matter" and being politically expedient.

I seen this magazine cover, I believe it was Rolling Stone with Barack Obama standing there in this Superman like pose. Given his ambition and his savvy political calculation Barack Obama looks more like Lex Luthor than the Man of Steel.

"What do you want?" "I want the world, Mrs. Kent"

Hey Barack. Are you sure the Clinton's will do and say anything to get elected?
