I note that Dreher offers only this on Huckabee's national security credentials - given that national security remains the President's most important job and the predominant glue that has held the social and economic conservative coalition together:
any Republican who finds himself worked up over Huckabee's lack of knowledge about foreign affairs, say, should ask himself if he felt the same way about Gov. Bush in 1999 and 2000, and if not, why not
Gee, Rod, I wonder. What could possibly have happened since 2000 to focus our attention more on national security?
