Next up on the Liberal hypocrisy watch, guess who owns $62,600,000.00 worth of HALLIBURTON!!! stock?

By Jeff Emanuel

Yep: it's George Soros. I'm waiting to hear the spinmeisters come out of the woodwork once again to decry the audacity of conservatives for daring to point this out...

...and, of course, to explain it all away with a nice little spiel (a la the Goracle) about how Soros is really OK here because, you know, he purchases Halliburton-offsets to make up the difference.

Evil Cheney and Bu$hCo have engaged in war profiteering and that has caused Halliburton shares to yield great dividends. Rather than sit back and let the Reich-wing rake in all the spoils, George Soros has seen fit to invest his own money and to use the profits to support Progressive causes. A list of those donations will be made available as soon as, as soon as....

Right-wing noise machine!!! Right-wing noise machine!!! Arrrghhh...arrrrggggh.

and one he probably didn't even realize he had. Mr. Soros delegates these decisions to technical financial people. He's just not being fully loyal.

Dick Cheney, on the other hand, deserves to die, according to HuffPo's readership.

True 'nuff, Socrates.... by Jeff Emanuel

...it's about 2% of his portfolio. However, how much leeway would a Republican get if the news came out that they had sunk $62.6 MILLION into Hally-burton?

I gave my usual half-hearted attempt at irony, giving a probable moonbat defense.

I think from now on I'll stick to unmerited personal insults, for which I've developed quite a knack, if I must say.

The only entry is the one about the whales.

By the way, today is my first anniversary here.

The same goes for you, as well. I've just verified that you have 11 pages of diaries here. The technical difficulties will be sorted out, but trust me.

Happy anniversary, by the way! :-)

as the gods have deemed it fit to scrub your history. Speaking of which, I need to check mine and see if I really exist.

Too bad the media is liberal biased and isn't holding onto these tidbits till say a month before the election. They would never do that though, it would mean crossing the line between journalism and partisan promotion.

I figured it up and I only used 23,673 KWHs of electricity last year, and no natural gas, heating oil, or propane. And that's for the whole farm, barn, tank heaters and all. The best I can tell, this means that I have carbon credits to sell.

I am willing to undercut every other supplier of these credits, so if you would like to dicker on price, feel free to respond accordingly.

In exchange for a small fee, I will give you a nice little certificate (extra if you want it embossed) for however many credits you need to continue to burn our limited fossil fuels, pollute our atmosphere with your nasty carbon, and destroy the earth as we know it.

Never again will we call you a limousine liberal, or even a gulf-stream liberal. As a matter of fact, you may even get an Oscar and Nobel Prize.

Now, how much?

I meant what I said and I said what I meant. An elephant's faithful 100 percent.

which I think is good for a few more credits, so I can probably give out extra certificates if you have any other rich, slothful friends who need cover.

SO if I fertilize Those Trees by Repair Man Jack

every time I can't quite make it to the porta-crapper, do I get carbon credits too?
