CY: I had same reaction but likely share the same bias.
Hillary is a hyper-partisan and that often comes off as harsh and cheap. I think this may work in the primary, but it spells trouble for the general. I think something Jon Chait wrote is worth noting on this point:
That's who she is--a figure who is disliked by pretty much everybody who isn't a sure-fire Democrat, and even some people who are.
