As readers know, I am skeptical of a lot of the sky-is-falling rhetoric that attends discussions of the state and fate of the Republican party. But that doesn't mean that improvements in the party's message, stance and fortunes cannot be made. Tom Coburn lists some ways to make those improvements and his thoughts should be seriously considered.
