Hillary Superdelegate Watch : Jon Corzine latest to talk of bolting

Do the Clintons shoot deserters?

It became a choice for the Dems between a candidate few outside the cabal wanted and a candidate few knew, and the Dems are going to nominate Obama. Clearing a path to bail is devout Clintonista and New Jersey Governor Jon Corzone, who told CNBC's Squawk Box that he can switch his SUPERDELEGATE support from Hillary to Barry if she does not win the popular vote when all is done and said in the Dem circus.

Gov. Jon Corzine, a Clinton superdelegate, just said on CNBC's Squawk Box that he reserves the right to change his vote from Hillary Clinton if she doesn't have the popular vote.

VID:

Washington Senator and Clinton supporter Maria Cantwell announced that she'd dump Clinton for Barry for similar reasons.

The world is shaking around Barry, yet the Superdelegates are marching toward Hillary. This is predicated, of course, on Hillary not winning the total popular vote in the Dem Circus, but the chances are not very good that she can win by margins large enough to achieve this. Even if Howard Dean manages to make everything alright.

But we have a CAVEAT. It has been argued, and I think correctly, that there is only one Democrat with the stature to resolve this fight, and it is not Dean, Al Gore, John Kerry, John Edwards, Ted Kennedy, or Fortney Pete Stark. Nope, it is, of course, Bill Clinton, and it is obvious how he would resolve this conundrum if the opportunity presented itself.

Which makes Moe's post of this morning -- The Fix is in -- all the more intriguing. Will the real fight begin on the DNC's Credentials Committee, with a Hillary Strength outweighing her second-place showing at the ballot box?

The only thing which is going to make this convention better is if they bring back John Kerrey to reprise the scripted "U.S.A., U.S.A., U.S.A." chant with the drunken delegates which left such an impression back in '04. Now that was a laugh riot.

Popular Vote by TheDoctor

It seems that slowly but surely Clinton is having a "last line of attack" drawn for her. I'm not sure if it's herself drawing it, seeing as trying to get the pop. vote now is almost unimaginable. Maybe the DNC is finally drawing a last chance for Clinton. In that superdelgates of all persuasions are saying she needs to get the pop. vote.

Two prediction markets located here regarding whether Clinton can get the pop. vote.

"My children and their spouses are pro-Obama. My grandchildren are also pro-Obama," he said at a news conference, according to the Nigerian newspaper This Day. "As a superdelegate, I would not disclose who I am rooting for, but I leave you to make that guess."

Put a fork in Obama. He's done in the general election.

and the biggest leftist loving ex-President evahhh.....but I suspect he will be very helpful in showing Obama how to hold a fraudulent election...he has much experience in that area.

Freedom of Religion not Freedom from Religion

He, too, is anti-America. He likes to go around the world and criticize our country.

This Day:

Carter, who is a Super Delegate from Georgia State, gave this hint at a media interaction after the Carter Center Awards for Guinea Worm Eradication in Abuja yesterday.

Carter, who was accompanied by his wife Rosalynn, did not profess a direct support for Obama but rather choose to make a veiled statement.

“We are very interested in the primaries. Don’t forget that Obama won in my state of Georgia. My town which is home to 625 people is for Obama, my children and their spouses are pro- Obama. My grandchildren are also pro-Obama. As a Super Delegate, I would not disclose who I am rooting for but I leave you to make that guess," he said.

Obama's picking up some freakish supporters.

the Clintons have lost their clout (read fear-off) and Bill Richardson was the test case that proves others can now distance themselves from them with no harm.
