Obama, Ayers, and Wright
How many friends will it take?

Today, Jim Geraghty over at NRO caught this line from another Jeremiah Wright sermon, "We cannot see that what we are doing is the same as al-Qaeda, under a different color flag." Remember, that this is the guy who has been Obama's friend for over 20 years, married him, baptized his children, and provided spiritual guidance to Obama.
I remember a statement that I noticed earlier from Bill Ayers, who I will now refer to as Barack's bombing blogging buddy, "I’ve never advocated terrorism, never participated in it, never defended it. The U.S. government, by contrast, does it routinely and defends the use of it in its own cause consistently." Ayers, of course, gave money to Obama and hosted his first campaign event in 1996.
The Politico's Ben Smith says:
The politics of this depend on whether you think there's room for nuance in a conversation like this -- for seeing Wright as a man of the left, and a sometimes hyperbolic preacher, but not an extremist; or whether any mention of him at all just fuels the impression that Obama comes from too far out a place.
I think it may also depend on how many more of these there are. Like alleged PLO associate Rashid Khalidi who hosted a fundraiser in 2000. Even Talk Lefters are worried about that.

I don't think it will take too many more to sink his boat. Actually, it's not the number of friends, because there are plenty, it's the media coverage that's lacking. When that steps up, no lifejacket can save him.
If the media were truly objective and showed appropriate concern for the future of this country the Wright controversy would have sunk Obama's boat weeks ago. Case in point: the idiot response from the left regarding Hagee's endorsement of McCain-as if they were equivalent. They clearly are not. But because of the left-wing media bias and 'thrill up my leg' Obamania the MSM will do everything in its power to ensure the next President of the United States is a man who's very patriotism is questioned by reasonable men.
Any more than Hagee is.
...cheap cigar, beat-up car, nice guitar.....
for Obama and than we will have leftist college professors running amuk in the WH and Saddam Hussein loyalist and on and on....oh they are on the ticket the fringes of that ticket...but they are there.
Freedom of Religion not Freedom from Religion
The point here, the ISSUE, is really quite simple. Even someone with a very limited IQ should be able to fathom it.
Obama as repeatedly said that the reason we should be voting for him is because his J.U.D.G.E.M.E.N.T. is vastly superior to the assembled other candiates. Since we have no real legislative record upon which to judge him, and he has no record of accomplishment in the private sector, the best way to test his judgement is to look at the company he keeps. Who does he trust to advise him, to mentor him. Let's see...
1. J. Wright. Racist, America hater, conspiracy theorist.
2. W. Ayres. Domestic terrorist. Proud of his Vietnam era acts of terrorism and wishes he'd done more. Supports and has raised money for BO.
3. Hamas. Terrorist group at war with the US. They endorsed him.
4. [name I can't remember] Hamas fund raiser who is currently raising $$ for BO.
5. [another name ICR] is BO's official blogger. An avowed Communist.
If you're not getting the picture, you're thicker than you appear to be.

Stole this from his website....
RUSH: "I'm sure you know this by now. Reverend Wright is out there. There are excerpts of his interview with Bill Moyers. And let me explain something to you about Bill Moyers. A lot of people in e-mails ask, "Rush, does Bill Moyers actually agree with this guy? Why is Bill Moyers giving this guy all this time?" Let me explain Bill Moyers to you. Bill Moyers despises the New Media. He despises that his Old Media is no longer a monopoly. He may find... I don't know what his thoughts on Jeremiah Wright are; I don't care. All he knows is that nobody would know about Jeremiah Wright, in his opinion, if it weren't for the New Media. So his attack is on the New Media. His willing participation in the attempt to sanitize Reverend Wright is not really to help Reverend Wright. It is to get back at the New Media. He despises us, he hates us, and Reverend Wright was brought to the public attention by us. So this is Moyers' reason. Then you have what Wright himself is saying.
Wright was asked by Moyers, "What are your thoughts on Obama here and all," and Reverend Wright said, "Well, look, he's saying what he has to say as a politician, and I'm saying what I say as a preacher." Now, you can interpret that one or two ways, ladies and gentlemen. He may be throwing Obama under the bus. A lot of people are interpreting it that way. Because what he's basically saying is, "Look, we all know that Obama doesn't believe half the stuff he's saying. He just has to say what he says. We know that Obama had to criticize me, but he really doesn't dislike me. He just had to do this for politics." This is not good to say this about a messiah. It's not good to say this about somebody who's going to bring hope and change and unity and all that. The second interpretation is -- I think there's some validity to that, but I also think this is going on -- the Obama campaign and the Democrat Party realize they have got to sanitize this guy. They have got to put him out there as a teddy bear, and that's their hope.
Now, it's a roll of the dice because it doesn't take much to get old Reverend Wright revved up, but he's out there; he was very gentle, and he was very happy. There were a couple of moments where he almost launched into sermon behavior, but he reined it in. He's going to be at the National Press Club. The whole point of this is to put him out there so the American people can see him this way so that then the campaign can say, "This guy? He's harmless! He works with prisons. He works with AIDS relief. He has soup kitchens. This is one of the greatest Americans around, a former Marine." This is the primary purpose of the Jeremiah Wright Sanitization Tour that begins tonight with Bill Moyers on PBS. "
"40 million American households with guns are generally happier
than those people in households that don't have guns."
John Murtha.
Jeremiah Wright.
EX-Marines, one and all.

LHO really *was* a patsy. The others are genuine America-haters.

It remains to be seen just how many more BHO associates will come out of the woodwork, i.e. 'dragged out from under their rocks'. The MSM seem to be tiring of the Wright story, not paying too much attention to the Ayers story, completely ignoring the Rezko story and, so far, haven't said word one regarding Sam Graham-Felson (Communist and official blogger of Obama for President Campaign) or Hatem Al-Hady (Fundraiser for Hamas and Obama). I suspect the MSM will continue to give Obama a pass. Don't expect Obama's questionable associations like these (and who knows how many others) to rock the MSM, it will be up to the bloggers and talk radio to do the media's job in protecting this country from an unvetted candidate.
