Kucinich to hold off on Presidential impeachment

This, folks, is big news for a White House trembling in its cowboy boots as it prolongs its Administration into its final year: Dennis Kucinich has delayed filing impeachment charges! Yes, the GOP might have been saved.

You see, Dennis had planned to get his impeachment ball rolling in reaction to a SotU address he hadn't heard, but is change of heart is documented right here, in Dennis's hometown Cleveland Plain Dealer:

Kucinich said Monday that he met with members of the House Judiciary Committee after making last week's impeachment pledge. He said he came away "hopeful there will be an inquiry by the Judiciary Committee."

"I will give them the opportunity to proceed before introducing articles of impeachment," he said in a statement. The committee's spokeswoman did not respond to requests for comment.

On what grounds did Dennis wish to impeach the President?

The usual.

From PressTV out of the Islamic Republic of Iran:

"[The] Bush administration led the nation to war on the basis of erroneous information that it methodically propagated and that culminated in military action against Iraq on March 19, 2003," the 61-year-old congressman quoted the [George Soros funded] Center for Public Integrity's recently released report on Washington lies prior to the Iraq invasion.

"In short, the [US] president and the vice president [Dick Cheney] lied and four-thousand of our soldiers died," Kucinich said during his speech in the United States House of Representatives.

"The president and the vice president lied and a million innocent Iraqis died in a war that has cost us 2 trillion dollars, when people here in the States are losing their jobs, their healthcare, their homes, their dignity," he continued.

Dennis was booted from the Dem primary contest last week, and he knows that talk of impeaching this President or his veep, especially in an election year, is naught but political prattle and that he has no real case.

'T is a political game, to be certain, but there is a lot of that going around now.

After all, Dennis the Menace used class warfare, race-baiting, and anti-business rants to sweep the victicrat vote and fuel his run for Mayor of Cleveland. He then proceeded to lead Cleveland into chaos and bankruptcy as the first city since the Great Depression to default on its loans. He eviscerated the city's law enforcement and public safety. He stocked his administration with an army of KuciniBot amateurs, including a 21-year-old acting police chief and a 24-year-old finance director whose only experience was a none-month stint at Merrill Lynch.

After he left office, this hero of the Left crashed on Shirley MacLaine’s couch and started spotting UFOs.

Some rinky-dink town in VT just might have Bush & Cheney arrested for "war crimes" (!) if they ever dare set foot in their precious hamlet.

Funny how the article cites the fact that VT is the only state Pres. Bush hasn't visited during his presidency. Go figure.

Tried to explain to a lefty... by NotSoBlueStater

How artfully worded the CPI study is. Kucinich proves my point here. The study talks about "false statements", which is a very accurate description of what happened that is never explained. The phrase is clearly chosen to mislead readers.

Kucinich, and the entire American left, took the bait. Soros is no dummy. He must be very pleased.
