You Are Too Old To Vote Democrat
John McCain Is So Old, He Remembers When The Democrats Were Not Whiny, Self-Indulgent Brats

Left-wing, Soros-funded* interest group "America Coming Together" has produced the following advertisement to helpfully remind you that if you are anywhere near as old as McCain, nyaaah, nyaaah, nyaah you're not cool enough to hang with the Democrats:
Via Exurban League, who breaks down voter turnout by age and remarks:
[In the ad,] twentysomethings ridicule McCain's age for 90 seconds. Because American voters love snarky college students insulting their war-hero elders.
Only a few seconds in, I was ready to take my walking-stick and tan the hides of those insolent whippersnappers, by cracky. And I'm only 41. If they're making punks like me feel old, I can only imagine what retirees throughout the Sun Belt will think.
H/T. Jim Geraghty thinks that "I were on Team McCain, I would make sure that ad runs in central Florida and closed-circuit television of every retirement community in the country," and suggests that "McCain is so old" could be the new Chuck Norris Facts. Certainly, McCain's tour harking back to the Great Depression is intended to solidify his bond with older voters, who are much more reliable than people like Obama Girl who make web videos and then don't bother to show up and vote.
If the Left thinks you are too old, well, it's never too late to come on over, join the adults, and vote Republican.
* - Why yes, George Soros is 78. I guess he's not too old for these punks to take his money. That's what grownups are there for - to pay the bills, right?

I'm in agreement with Geraghty. This ad is going to hand Florida on a silver platter to McCain.
Now also found at The Minority Report
Arizona and big parts of New Mexico ...
I thought Obama wanted to end the "divisive" politics ?
young vs old ... employed vs not ... investor vs receipient ... even, black vs white ... its the dems trying to inflame group/class warfare ...

attack because the AARP is one of their large voting blocks and I don't think they will appreciate it one bit.
Freedom of Religion not Freedom from Religion
the AARP is so in-the-bag for the Democrats that they will probably help fund the ad, and then do one of their own, testifying that Obama seems more mature than his years.
then he would qualify for the cover of their magazine in time for his re-election campaign.
*He was flying combat aircraft for his country before Barack Obama was born.
*He's been on the Senate Armed Services Committee since before Barack Obama went to law school.
*He won multiple presidential primaries back when Barack Obama was an obscure state Senate backbencher who couldn't beat a former Black Panther in a primary.
"No compromise with the main purpose, no peace till victory, no pact with unrepentant wrong." - Winston Churchill
He remembers when Doyle Dane Bernbach were making effective ads for the Democrats
1) never said with a smile--means "I just want you to hear how worthless you are before I take you down"
2) always said with a smile--means "I just want you to hear how worthless you are before you crawl out of my sight"
3) always said with a nervous laugh--means "I just want to hear how cool I sound talking trash when we both know I couldn't possibly mean a word of it"
Somebody was paying for a combo of 1) and 2) but they got 3) instead.
soli Deo gloria
....smack of desperation to anyone else?
“.....women and minorities hardest hit”
soli Deo gloria
Those silly 'progressives' always with their bigotry...
I have uncovered their next ad:

While I am over 20 years younger than McCain, this is the year I turn the Big 50. When I wasn’t even 20 I remember my roommate and I having a “serious” discussion about what regrets we may have when we are older. I remember saying that when I turned 40 and looked back I didn’t want to feel as if my life had been all for nothing. Before 20, I thought 40 was the end, and when I turned 40 I thought it might be the half-way mark, now as I turn 50 I realize how stupid I was to think there was an end or a half way mark.
In my heart I feel more zip, more joy, more love, more excitement, more assuredness, and more peace than I ever imagined possible at 20. Yet, as I turn 50 I am looking back and realize I am missing a lot of things I had in my 20s and 30s. As I turn 50, I notice I have virtually none of the anguish, uncertainness, woe, disappointment, hurt, pain and torment I often felt in my 20s. I certainly am lacking the false bravado, foolhardiness, and shallow, self-centeredness that fostered an unsurpassable loquaciousness.
I do have something as 50 approaches that I certainly did not have in my 20s, chagrin. When I was in my 20s very often I was many years younger than my co-workers, dated older men, and often ran in social circles with people many years older. My nickname was “mom.” I thought it was because I was so mature and knowledgeable. I thought the smiles and silent nods from those around me were of agreement and respect. Now, as I said, I am chagrin. Now as 50 approaches whenever I find myself listening to an overly earnest 20 year old pontificate on the important issues of the day and instruct me about the facts and circumstances of this or that, I find myself smiling and silently nodding. I realize that after a few sentences I am not listening at all. I am praying. I am praying that God grant me the patience with them that others had for me. I pray that when they reach my age that the worst they feel is chagrin and not shame of the certain destructiveness than may come if successful in having them in control. The blush that appears upon remembering my own youthful folly fades as my mind’s eye sees those smiling faces and nodding heads and I think to be sure their thoughts on those days long past were probably much like my own today.
Isn’t it ironic that they look at a life that contains not only their meager current experiences but a fullness of so much more it is as beyond their comprehension today as it was mine over 30 years ago, and yet they find lacking.
Keep talking you children, keep pointing to your sweet hubris of youth. I will continue to smile and nod. When you look at this earth and see all that is younger than John McCain, we see a life rich in experience. To be sure those of us who are older than Barry look at your “Hope” and we see little more than smoke.
And another thing, I wonder why at 50 I have not written two autobiographies? Ummm, I see more than smoke, I see braggadocio and loquaciousness vastly beyond my skill.

but I had to tell you, M Penny, how beautiful that was.
While I lag behind you a few years, I too have noticed my irritation at the twentysomethings and their continual assurances that they *know* better. I'm not nearly as gracious as you, however. I just walk away. ;)
Right on par with "Yo Momma So Fat" jokes.
Really, really, really weak.
We have a clip of Obamessiah lying and another of him flipping Hillary! the bird. They have one to say that John McCain is older than color TV. That reaches a lot of us way younger than senior. I was half grown before we got TV, let alone color.
They'll need to come up with something a lot better than this.
I meant what I said and I said what I meant. An elephant's faithful 100 percent.
Ralph Nader is 74.
he has sweat socks with more legislative experience than Obama.
McCain is so old he can remember when Democrat Presidential candidates were strong on National Defense.
McCain is so old he still believes that Presidential campaigns should be about issues and should be conducted with principles and decorum.
he is so old, he remembers when quiz shows paid small amounts of money and asked hard questions.
he is so old, he remembers when most Americans were taught about George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Ben Franklin in a positive manner.
he is so old he actually experienced a time when acting a fool brought condemnation and shame, not celebrity and followers.
he is so old, he remembers a time when all Americans rooted for the USA in a time of war.

Molon Labe!
McCain is older than color TV. Armed with that knowledge, how could I possibly vote for him?
