We have more information this morning that should give you incentive to contribute to Sean Parnell (R-AK) in his bid to unseat Don Young ($-AK).

Have you heard about the A-Team? That's Don Young's list of lobbyists who, in any and all cases, should be put through to him should they call Young's office.

A number of news outlets are reporting on this and other interesting items from a checklist for interns from Young's office. Young's spokeswoman says the list was not the office's official list, but rather a list put together by interns for interns. Anyone who has ever been an intern knows that the intern generated list is by far the most accurate reflection of what goes on in the office.

More importantly, and much more damning, is that when interns answer the phone, they must learn who the members are of the "A-Team." According to the guide, "these people can talk to whomever they want, normally Mike or Sara. Tell them who it is and transfer over unless they say otherwise. I recommend looking up who they are."

So who are they? Lobbyists. Number one on the list is Rick Alcade, the lobbyist tied to the Coconut Road scandal that has gotten Young in trouble with the Feds. Lobbyists on the A-Team include:

Rick Alcalde
Randy DeLay (brother of former Rep. Tom DeLay)
Billy Lee Evans
Jay Dickey
Mike Henry (former Young staffer turned lobbyist)
Duncan Smith (former Young staffer turned lobbyist)
C.J. Zane (former Young staffer turned lobbyist)
Colin Chapman (former Young staffer turned lobbyist)

You can read the checklist here. What I actually find most amazing is just how high maintenance Mrs. Young is. Talk about a stereotypical congressman's wife. Among the notes on dealing with Mrs. Young:

Wants Pumpkin Seeds when she says sunflower seeds.
Don't stand in her way -- don't stand anywhere I would suggest. Sit down or hide in the broom cupboard.
Does not permit noise from computers.
Eat what she tells you to eat.
Her orders are often disguised as offers, suggestions, or invitations, they are not -- do them.

I'm surprised the interns were not also required to watch Monster-in-Law.
