MORNING UPDATE:
The legislature and Governor have apparently reached a deal on the repeal of the sales tax on services. Reportedly, it is a 21.9 percent surcharge on the Michigan Business Tax capped at $6 million with a 2015 sunset. About $100 million will be drained from the MBT's rainy day fund, according to sources.
Senate Republicans negotiated a 42% decrease from what the House Democrats passed…and got a net cut of $100 million on job providers…we’ll see.

MORNING UPDATE:
House Democrats continue to play games…take two weeks off…pass an unacceptable, politically motivated tax shift..and then try to blame Republicans…as they walk away from their jobs.
Let’s be clear…the Democrat Governor and the Democrats in the legislature passed the largest tax increase in Michigan’s history. The Democrats pushed through these tax increases that included the dreaded sales tax on services…which is a disaster by anyone’s analysis.

MORNING UPDATE:
More Games….House Democrats passed a “take it or leave” it repeal/replacement of the sales tax on services and then adjourned…while the Democrat Chair of the House Tax Committee , Rep. Bieda said they were still negotiating.
Speaker Andy Dillon and the House Democrats continue to act irresponsibly…passing the largest tax hike in Michigan’s history…jamming through a disastrous sales tax on services and then once again trying to blackmail fiscally conservative legislators into more revenues….

Michigan 28 – Michigan State 24….what a game…down to the last minute of the game!!!
Governor Mitt Romney was at the game yesterday. He came by our tailgate and shook some hands, took some pictures and never met as many “Lithuanian-Americans” in one place before. We took a great group picture with our scout leaders as well!
We did a “live” skype video conference with out the skype! I dropped my computer minutes before we were scheduled to go on. We had tested the connection earlier, it all worked well and then butter finger on this end dropped it.

MORNING UPDATE:
Repeal of the sales tax on services is a top priority. How to replace the “lost revenues”…your tax dollars is being debated. FOUR options: 1) reforms 2) cuts 3) other taxes 4) combination. I like 1 & 2…Democrats want 3…and so goes the debate?!?
Do You Know What's In The Law Of The Sea Treaty (known as the LOST Treaty)?
The LOST Treaty is an agreement that hands over control of the high seas and the ocean floor to a newly-created International Seabed Authority, a wholly owned subsidiary of the United Nations and the third-world, and signals the end of our right to sail the world in freedom!
