MORNING UPDATE:

STATE COMMITTEE MEETS...today and tomorrow. Pizza and Politics tonight and the formal state committee meeting Saturday morning.

RONALD REAGAN REMEMBERED...yesterday, we commemorated the death of President Ronald Reagan who died June 5, 2004. Even before he made the White House his home, Ronald Reagan spoke for the American people, capturing the hearts of small-town citizens and world leaders alike. His remarkable career in public life, spanning over fifty years, began in the Midwest as a student leader and sports broadcaster, then in Hollywood as an actor and long-time director of the Screen Actors Guild, later as Governor of California, and finally, as President of the United States. His legacy, too, is extraordinary: In eight short years as President, Ronald Reagan presided over epochal international changes and ushered in unparalleled peace and prosperity - not only to his country but the world.

200 Days until Election Day

MORNING UPDATE:

State Committee kicked off it’s meeting yesterday. We held our county chairs meeting, which was followed by our favorite Friday night “Pizza and Politics” event…a great venue for folks to mix and mingle. As always, a great start to our meeting.

The formal State Committee meets this morning…more on that tomorrow.

Governor Granholm starts her junket to the Middle East…not on her dime! Maybe she should just go down to Indiana and figure out why Michigan companies have moved “south” over the “border”. No, we are NOT talking about Mexico. What an embarrassment.

MORNING UPDATE:

Let’s remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom…honor those who honor us by serving our country. On this Veteran’s Day, we give thanks!
We had a great State Committee meeting. RNC presented the Victory ’08 program. We reviewed Newt’s American Solution polling. Discussed the presidential primary “fix” and state convention option…either way, we’re ready to go.
