If one day didn't permanently kill all of those jobs maybe two or three days will. The Teamsters walkout at a Michigan auto delivery company continues today with no immediate end in sight. But on the upside, those wounds are directly self inflicted. The union members understand they're probably blowing their own jobs away. According to the Detroit News:

Have you heard about that new movie from M. Night Shyamalan? The one with Marky Mark? It's called The Happening and no it wasn't filmed in Michigan. I haven't seen the flick and I probably won't. I read a couple of early reviews and folks haven't been particularly frightened or impressed but the movie certainly has an interesting premise. SPOILER ALERT!!! (Let it never be said that I'm not concerned about the sanctity of your movie-going experience.) The Earth wants to rid itself of human beings so it releases a gas or a toxin or something that causes everyone on the planet to... ahem... dispose of themselves in creative and, I'm sure the movie makers hope, terrifying ways.

By Soren Dayton
The Wall Street Journal trashes Barack Obama's abysmal trade rhetoric:
Here's one "change" presidential candidate Barack Obama apparently believes in: higher prices. Witness his letter last week urging President George W. Bush not to submit the U.S.-South Korea free-trade agreement to Congress for ratification.
Heritage notes that this would have an impact on trade by lowering the trade deficit by between $3b and $4.5b.:
The U.S. International Trade Commission has estimated it would increase annual U.S. exports to South Korea by between $10 billion and $11 billion, and increase imports from the longtime Asian ally by between $6.4 billion and $6.9 billion.
But Obama opposes it...:
On the record so far, Mr. Obama is the most protectionist U.S. presidential candidate in decades. In February he inserted a statement opposing the Korean trade deal into the Congressional record only days before securing the endorsement of the powerful Teamsters union.
This is the same union that he also wants to end federal oversight of, even though he knows they are corrupt.
How does that help American workers or the Teamsters members who would ship those goods?

This man will say and do anything to get elected.

Barack Obama is an addict. We need to just admit it. Actually, he needs to admit it -- that's the first step to recovery.
Obama is addicted to lying. He just can't help himself. Another day, another lie. Today, it's on the teamsters.
The Wall Street Journal reports Obama wants to scrap federal government oversight of the Teamsters.
