John Derbyshire is raising money for Ron Paul at The Corner. I'm disappointed. We all know Ron Paul is opposed to Goldwater Republicanism, but once upon a time NR was a Goldwater Republican organization. If NRO continues to allow Derbyshire to shill for Ron Paul on their site, it shows that they truly have diverged from their proud traditions.

Look, there's a fair amount of Senator Barry Goldwater's track record that I don't agree with, even if his run for the Presidency in 1964 was standard for conservatism for a quarter century. But in the debate tonight, when Representative Ron Paul repudiated our fight in Vietnam, Ron Paul repudiated Barry Goldwater.

Ron Paul says, or just said in this CNN debate, that wonderful things happened in Vietnam after we left. I think the dead would disagree.
Ron Paul is a shill for Communist butchers. I hate him.
No, I don't have an exact transcript. That's the problem with live television.
Update: Moe Lane has more including the transcript, and in the comments I show how people fled the way Communists "cleaned up" our "mess" in Vietnam, to use Ron Paul's words for "murder" and "refugees."
